This TWA poster was produced in the early 1960s with artwork by David Klein who did many wonderful posters for the airline in the 1950s and 1960s. For this poster Klein features a montage of stylized images of some of Europe’s most famous landmarks and cultural symbols including the Roman Coliseum, a Viking longship, the Eiffel Tower, London’s Big Ben and more. Text on the poster reads EUROPE FLY TWA SUPERJETS.
This vintage original poster is free of tape and pinholes and retains vibrant color. The poster shows moderate handling wear including some bumping along the upper right edge and a light crease on the right side of the top edge. This poster displays beautifully as is or with basic linen backing could look almost like new. Overall condition is very good.
