This vintage original poster was created by the artist Jose Morell and issued by the Spanish State Tourism Department. Josep Morell Marcias, who signed his work “Morell” and is often referred to as Jose Morell, designed several travel posters for his native Spain in the 1930s and 1940s. For this German language edition of this poster Morell renders a festive scene Spanish dancers in colorful dress. The lower margin indicates the poster was printed in Spain by Talleras Offset. Also in the lower margin is document code “48-319-5-427” which indicates a 1948 publication date.
This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to linen with some minor touchup as needed including repair to some bumping and short tears on the left side near the upper corner. The colors are strong and overall condition is very good.
