This inviting poster promoting travel to Northern Scandinavia was issued jointly by the governmental travel authorities of Finland, Sweden and Norway and features a lively design by Bengt Lundstrom titled Top Of Europe – See the Midnight Sun in Northern Scandinavia.  Elements of Scandinavian Modern design are evident in a stylized Midnight Sun rising over Scandinavians engaged in recreational activities popular in the region including cross country skiing, fishing and canoeing while a reindeer pulls a man on a sled.  The lower margin is printed “Published By The Finnish Association, Helsingfors - The North-Norway Travel Association, Narvik - The Tourist Society of Norrbotten, Luleå And The Swedish Traffic Association” and “Bengt Lundstrom/AB Anders Beckman – Printed In Sweden By Helsingborgs Litho AB”

This poster has been professionally conservation mounted to linen with some minimal expert touchup as needed including repair to a couple short tears on the right edge.  The poster has a couple small scratches and two pinholes on each corner of the linen border not affecting the poster.  The original colors are retained and overall condition is very good.
