This vintage original Hawaii travel poster is unsigned and we can't be sure of the artist but some have attributed it to the artwork Charles “Chas” Allen who created a very similar well known Hawaiian travel poster. This poster features four men on surfboards riding a giant wave over the title HAWAII printed at the bottom. This poster has nothing to indicate what entity published this poster or the date but it is definitely a vintage original which looks to be from the early to mid 1960s.
This poster has been professionally conservation mounted to linen with some expert touch up to small creases in the image area and some small abrasions and short tears on the edges. The poster shows what looks like a staple hole in the margin on each corner. Overall condition is very good.
