This delightful Mid-century pictorial map poster of Europe was issued by Sabena, the national airline of Belgium. The map shows Continental Europe, the United Kingdom and parts of Egypt and North Africa all elaborately decorated with whimsical caricatures and small icons emblematic to each country. The poster promotes the airline’s “Holiday Abroad Extra City Plans” promotion run in 1961 and 1962 with the European capitols and destination cities printed around the border with airfares for different classes of service shown.

This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to linen and displays beautifully with vibrant color. Expert repair has restored a small bit of loss on the edge near the lower left hand corner with a few minor touchups applied.  Overall condition is very good for this vintage original.
